| IAA Board Chair honors UPSA alumni |
The Board Chairman of the Internal Audit Agency (IAA), Joseph Winful, has received recognition from the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) Global Alumni for his contributions to the university and the nation's whole business community.
At last Friday's closing ceremony of the Internal Audit Conference, which was hosted by the (IAA) in Accra, the global alumni, under the leadership of its President, Francis Kodjo Dadzie, gave the citation to Mr. Winful.
The three-day conference's theme was "Injecting fiscal discipline into resource mobilization and utilisation for sustainable development: The role of internal auditors," and internal auditors from all around the nation attended.
Citation
"Whereas, it is a joyous occasion to congratulate you on your achievement in the auditing and accounting community of Ghana," stated the citation that was given to Mr. Winful.
Whereas, as a business consultant and former Senior Partner of KPMG, you have 38 years of experience in corporate leadership, good governance, human resource and business improvement, policy formulation, analysis, and project management and have demonstrated innovative business practices to clients and project teams.
You have mentored many professional accountants as a senior partner, and you continue to do so as chairman of the Internal Audit Agency Board. Resolved, as the oldest alumni attending the University of Professional Studies' 2022 Annual Internal Audit Conference, The citation said, "Your contribution to the University and Business community of Ghana is acknowledged by the entire global alumni network.
