Due to recent tragedy, the next "Are We Africans Yet (A.W.A.Y)" Atlanta Festival has been postponed till November 2023.
On November 18, 2022, the forthcoming event was scheduled to take place at Atlanta, Georgia's State Farm Arena, which can accommodate 20,000 people. The multi-award-winning megastar's gig was also scheduled to feature performances by Mayorkun, Stonebwoy, BNXN, Kizz Daniel, Pheelz, Lojay, and other musicians.
The organization of the event, however, announced on the festival's official Instagram page that Davido has moved the forthcoming AWAY Festival to 2023. In the statement, Davido expresses a wish to spend as much time as possible with his family and loved ones.
In the meantime, the statement claims: "We have decided to postpone A.W.A.Y Festival to Saturday, November 18, 2023, a difficult but necessary choice. At this moment, Davido needs to spend time with his family and loved ones. All purchased tickets will be honored for the 2023 event.

Recall that Ifeanyi, Davido's 3-year-old kid, drowned in the pool at the family home in Banana Island. The loss was caused by drowning, according to the police, and his death is being looked into.
Finally, days after the tragedy, the megastar quickly returned to Instagram to delete and unpin posts.
