The government and charitable organizations have been urged by Nana Kwame Bosompim II, the Krontihene of Denkyira Meretweso, to assist in completing the Meretweso M/A basic school in the upper Denkyira East Municipality's central district.
On Wednesday, August 10, 2022, the Dunkwa Traders Co-operative credit union gave 20 dual desks worth GHC10,000 to the school. The Krontihene then made this fervent request.

He also made a plea for people and organizations to help the school, including by providing laptops, a kindergarten building, toilet facilities, etc.
Some students also made a plea to the wider public for assistance.
The board chairman of Duntaccu, Mr. Abdul Razark Mumeen, who had previously given the school 20 dual desks, spoke once more through the media to ask for further support for the meretweso m a basic school.
Patrick Agyei, general manager of Duntaccu, spoke about the necessity for Denkyiras, organizations, and people to support the Meretweso M/A basic school.
