Akufo-Addo Will Reshuffle His Cabinet in a Major Transition - View Details

 
A substantial reorganization of his administration will soon be announced by President Nana Akufo-Addo, according to dependable sources in the party's National Executive Committee.

In addition to bringing in some strong Fresh Patriotic Party (NPP) members as new faces, he will also bring back several well-known figures from his first term.

In contrast, Dr. Stephen Amoah and Kwabena Tahir Hammond (KT Hammond) will be joining the Akufo-Addo administration for the first time as Minister of State in charge of Finance and Trade and Industry, respectively. Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, Minister of Education, has reportedly been nominated for dismissal.

Our sources claim that Byran Acheampong is a candidate to become the next minister of agriculture, and Palgrave Boakye Danquah will join the administration as deputy minister of the ministry of information.

Our knowledge is that Kwaku Ofori Asiamah, the transport minister, won't be resuming his duties. It's uncertain whether he'll be transferred or removed entirely.

Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, and Ursula Owusu-Ekuful would all be named as substantive ministers.
