No need for a change, according to Akufo-Addo, because his ministers have been excellent.

 The competence of his ministers has been praised by President Nana Akufo-Addo as "excellent work."

The President stated that his ministers' production has been "substantial" and that is what I look at," therefore there is no need to rearrange them.

The President stated that his appointees were living up to his expectations in an interview with Tamale's North Star radio station.

President Akufo-Addo continued, "If the output measures expectations, then I don't have any good grounds to heed the appeal."

Akufo-Addo stated that some of the requests for him to reshuffle his ministers are unjustified.

"The calls are made for a variety of reasons, including the NDC's desire to topple the government. There are others who are looking for work, he continued.

In August of his first term, Akufo-Addo underwent his most recent ministerial shuffle.

He also canceled Sarah Adwoa Safo's appointment as Minister for Gender, Children, and Social Protection two weeks ago after she failed to report for work for more than three months.

Lariba Zuweira Abudu, a member of parliament for Walewale, was chosen by President Akufo-Addo as her replacement.

Francisca Oteng Mensah, a legislator for Kwabre East, was also named by the President as the Deputy Minister-designate for Gender, Children, and Social Protection.

Linda Thomas-Greenfield, the United States' ambassador to the UN, has praised Ghana's president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, for his outstanding contribution to the stability and security of the West African region as well as Ghana's position on the UN Security Council.


In a meeting with President Akufo-Addo at Jubilee House on Saturday, August 6, 2022, the US Ambassador to the UN conveyed the United States of America's gratitude for President Akufo-valiant Addo's efforts in promoting peace.
